Home Loans For Veterans

When I was in the process of buying my first home, I had no idea I was entitled to a home loan benefit. It wasn’t until I entered the mortgage industry in 2003 that I understood just how powerful the program could be.

After months of educating myself on the intricacies of the VA loan, I realized the need for a place where veterans could come to learn about the benefit. This sparked my interest in opening a local branch of Veterans United Home Loans – the nation’s expert on VA loans.

In 2011, I officially opened Veterans United Home Loans of Hawaii and quickly worked to implement the company’s core values of enhancing lives every day, delivering results with integrity, being passionate and having fun.

It wasn’t long before I saw how Veterans United could help to reach even more veterans with this important message.

Today, I continue the original mission by offering free monthly seminars to show local veterans how the VA home loan benefit can fit their lifestyle. But my Veterans United team and I are not stopping there.

Veterans United Foundation is a philanthropic arm of Veterans United Home Loans funded solely by employee contributions and company matches. This foundation helps military members and their families across the nation. Locally, we are proud to offer support to Navy League, Habitat for Humanity, the Armed Forces YMCA and so many more organizations.

Veterans United Home Loans of Hawaii helps countless organizations and veterans in need, educates thousands of veterans on their hard-earned VA loan benefit and helps more than 400 families realize the dream of homeownership each year. Our dedication to enhancing the lives of veterans in our community is obvious and was further validated last year, as the team was awarded the 2013 Enhancing Lives Award by the Veterans United corporate office.
