Grant Helps Makakilo Project

Thanks to a grant from First Hawaiian Bank Foundation, Easter Seals Hawaii now has an additional $20,000 to go toward a new project – the installation of a commercial kitchen at its Napuakea Makakilo multi-program center.

The center provides area residents with access to individualized family-centered services for infants, children, adults, and seniors with developmental disabilities and special needs.

Easter Seals plans to use the commercial kitchen in conjunction with its Adult Day Health program to enable participants to prepare food products for sale.
