Golf Tourney Will Benefit Lunalilo Folk

The Lunalilo Home golf tournament is set for July 18 at Hawaii Kai Golf Course, with an unforgettable deadline for golfer signups – July 4.

The 23rd annual tourney benefits the home’s residents who cannot care for themselves nor pay adequately for their care at the nonprofit Hawaii Kai facility.

Team and sponsorship fees range from $750 to $6,000, and forms can be downloaded at lunalilo.org. Straight donations also are welcome, as are prizes.

The event begins with check-in and bento lunch at 11 a.m., and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. in a three-person modified scramble. A banquet and prizes will follow. Awards total $10,000.
