Friends of Hawaii Charities Grant Awards Ceremony
Friends of Hawaii Charities held a grant awards ceremony last month at Waialae Country Club. Thanks to the 2013 Sony Open in Hawaii, which raised $1 million with the support of the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Friends of Hawaii Charities is distributing grants to more than 170 local charities this year. Programs being awarded serve Hawaii’s children, women, elderly and its impoverished.
