Focus on East Oahu

Kaiser senior Jason Cheng earned a top composite score of 36 on last year’s ACT test, a comprehensive national achievement test used in college admissions — something that only 1/10th of 1 percent of 1,600,000 students achieve each year. He was honored by ACT, the ACT Hawaii Council, and Kaiser High at a campus awards assembly. Here he displays his award alongside principal John Sosa, who holds a plaque for the school.
