FilCom Seeks New Director

The Filipino Community Center is seeking an executive director to oversee the administration of the Waipahu-based center.

The executive director will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including fiscal management, fundraising, public relations, communications, preparing annual reports, strategic planning, program development and more.

FilCom opened in 2002 to provide various social and educational services to the community, while also perpetuating Filipino culture throughout the state.

Prospective candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, along with 10 years of management experience. Additional experience with fundraising, financial management, property management, marketing and events is preferred. Candidates should also have knowledge of the local Filipino community.
