Thanks to Malama Learning Center, you can create your own personalized costume this Halloween as part of its Without Walls workshop.

Sponsored by Hawaiian Electric Company, the paper mache mask workshop takes place Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at Kapolei High School’s Portable 1.

Instructors will offer up ideas and examples, as well as materials to create a fun, non-toxic Halloween disguise.

During the session, attendees will mix together newspaper, flour and water to create a mold using their own faces, and the blank mask can be taken home and decorated right before the holiday.

Registration is available online at malamalearningcenter.org, and cost is $15 per person or $30 for families of up to three people.
