Ewa Beach Boy Scout Renovates His High School Parking Lot

Daniel Chandler Bade of Ewa Beach Boy Scout Troop 122 recently earned his Eagle Scout rank, making him the first Eagle Scout for the troop in more than 30 years.

Bade achieved the honor after completing his Eagle service project, in which he repaired and beautified Lanakila Baptist High School’s parking lot. Bade, who is a freshman at the school, officially became an Eagle Scout at his Eagle Court of Honor Ceremony.

A number of notable guests attended the event to support Bade, including state Sen. Will Espero and Rep. Kymberly Pine. They presented Bade with certificates of recognition from the Senate and the House of Representatives, respectively, at both the national and local levels.

Also present were Bade’s parents, Richard and Regina, the high school principal and Bade’s Boy Scout leaders.
