Doctor Sharing Tips On Health

Local cardiologist and author Dr. Roger White will present tips on how to improve both physical and spiritual health at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Kapolei Library.

White has been practicing medicine for 35 years, during which time he has provided patients with life-saving treatments and surgeries. But, as he states on his website, “most people’s biggest unrecognized need is maintaining a healthy lifestyle” and asserts that poor eating habits and a lack of physical activity are the sources of ailments for many people.

With this in mind, White created a health program, SOAR, to encourage people to increase awareness about their health – and what they can do to improve it. He also wrote the book, SOAR: Achieving your best possible health through awareness, which documents stories of patients who have implemented his preventative strategies – as well as his own transition into preventative care.
