Christmas Open House at Washington Place
Washington Place, 320 S. Beretania St., 5-8 p.m., $5 suggested donation. Enjoy a guided tour through the 171-year-old home to learn more about the occasion on Christmas Eve, 1858, that sparked the time-honored custom, including a tree reminiscent of the first tree decorated by Mary Dominis for the children of Honolulu. The Priory Chamber Choir from St. Andrew’s Schools, directed by Bowe Souza, will give a musical performance. Adult guests may be required to present a picture ID at the gate and have their bags inspected. Live Nativity Christmas Story
