Citizen-Scholar Awards
A senior from every Department of Education high school was honored with a $1,000 scholarship April 28 at The Modern Honolulu, as part of a Citizen-Scholar Award program. The awards program is thanks to a partnership among Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association, Honolulu Star-Advertiser and the DOE.
