Chocoholics’ Dreams Coming True Saturday

Chocolate never was so good – good for charity, that is.

The 2013 Chocolate Extravaganza at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, located on 780 Keolu Drive, is all set for 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday and will benefit the church and Family Promise of Hawaii, an organization that transitions families into permanent housing.

Organizers hope to raise $15,000 with 350 guests and volunteers in attendance.

Guests at the 11th annual benefit can expect to sample an all-you-can-eat buffet of chocolate delights (including a chocolate fountain) and browse the silent auction. A limited number of VIP guests also can attend an exclusive chocolate tasting prior to the general reception. Tickets cost $25 presale and $30 at the door. VIP tickets cost $35.
