It’s A Carnival At Aiea High Fair

Aiea High School’s Family Fun Fair, which runs from 4 to 9 p.m. April 17, is less “fun fair” than it is full-blown carnival.

Planned are food booths, Xtreme rides and inflatables, a petting zoo, country store, crafters, pony rides, face and hair painting, games and live entertainment, among other things. With a $20 Xtreme wristband, attendees gain unlimited access to rides and one rock-climbing attempt, but tickets also will be sold individually. Scrips, 50 cents each, will be used to purchase food, play games and participate in just about everything else at the event. All proceeds from the fair, coordinated by Aiea High’s PTSO with the support of more than 700 adult and student volunteers, go to fund school programs.
