Campbell High Turns 50 By Honoring Grads, Showcasing Alumni

More than 2,000 alumni, students and community members attended James Campbell High School’s 50th anniversary Golden Celebration to honor the school’s history and look toward the future.

The Sept. 29 celebration featured food booths, giveaways and retail vendors.

Alumni also were an integral part of the festivities, as some former Sabers provided live entertainment. Other alumni, meanwhile, gathered together for mini reunions.

Saber graduates also conducted recognition ceremonies throughout the day to honor outstanding alumni and community supporters.

Current Campbell students also participated in the event, as the band, cheerleaders and Navy JROTC performed in the opening and recognition ceremonies.
