BWW Helps Out Kids’ Flag Football Program

Chicken wings and football go hand-in-hand in sports — and Buffalo Wild Wings just continued that tradition with Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii.

As part of the company’s Team Up for Kids initiative, BWW has awarded a $3,000 All Stars grant to the Nanakuli Clubhouse’s flag football program.

The grant allows the team to purchase jerseys, as well as tools and resources from National Alliance for Youth Sports, which will train administrators and volunteer coaches.

Pearl Highlands BWW general manager Ryan Weatherford will speak on behalf of the company at the Nov. 1 game, which runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the clubhouse.

BWW’s Team Up for Kids will award grants to 285 BGCA clubhouses around the nation in support of team sports programs.

The restaurant also is running a fundraising campaign, where all paper pinups purchased in-restaurant (with a $1 minimum donation) support Boys & Girls Club. For more information, visit buffalowildwings.com/giving.
