Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii – 9/18/13

Chad Okuhara has joined Graham Builders as project manager. He will manage and coordinate the construction process from scheduling to cost control. Prior to joining the company, Okuhara served as an accounting manager at MW Group, where he was responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s accounting department.
Megan Jones has been appointed executive director of the Hawaii Affiliate of Susan G. Komen. She will bring to the job a vision of effective and leading-edge development experience. Jones has a diverse background in project development, strategic and operational planning, marketing and development analysis, along with policy and procedure development. She previously worked as director of development at Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey.
Tiffany Rabacal-Harper has been promoted from marketing representative to account manager with Xerox Hawaii. In her new position, Rabacal-Harper will be responsible for providing Xerox Hawaii’s accounts with solutions to effectively manage their documents. She joined Xerox Hawaii in January 2010 and, prior to that, served as an account executive for Ricoh Business Solutions.
Kristin Alm has been promoted to human resources specialist with Remedy Intelligent Staffing of Honolulu. She will handle the payroll process and assist with employee benefits for all Remedy associates. She also will manage Remedy associates from application to orientation, as well as recruit for various local clients to assist with their staffing needs. Prior to joining the firm, Alm worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
Aaron Kirk, chief operating officer for Sunetric, has been appointed to the 2013 board of Hawaii’s Better Business Bureau. While on the board, he will promote ethical business behavior that builds consumer confidence in business, such as honest advertising, clear representation of products and services, and prompt resolution of consumer complaints.
Laura Ing Baker has been appointed executive director of Sales and Marketing Executives International of Honolulu. She is responsible for coordinating events, building membership and gaining sponsorships. Baker has a background in sales promotion and marketing and most recently served as association executive of the Hawaii chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management.
