Business Expo May 2 At Waimea

North Shore Chamber of Commerce will sponsor its sixth annual Business Expo May 2 at Waimea Valley.

Titled “North Shore Experience: Learn, Grow and Prosper,” the 2014 program brings together businesses and nonprofits making up the area’s business environment, including agriculture, dining, retail, art, manufacturing, ocean sports and recreation, and visitor attractions.

The expo offers opportunities for attendees to grow their business. Keynote speaker, for example, is OHA trustee and cultural tourism consultant Peter Apo, who will discuss the special challenges of being a destination community while maintaining the community’s unique identity.

The expo includes a continental breakfast, sandwich buffet and pau hana reception. Cost for attending is $80 for Chamber members and $95 for non-members. Exhibitor fees begin at $250 for members and $300 for non-members. Deadline is April 25.

Attendees must have registered by April 11 to take advantage of the early bird discount.
