BOE Plans Community Forum At Kapolei High

The state Board of Education is taking its show on the road for an official meeting with the Leeward Oahu community from 6 to 8 p.m. April 24 in the Kapolei High School cafeteria.

Board members and the Leeward Oahu Complex invite the public to attend, get acquainted, share views on public education and discuss the community’s role in supporting student success and the public library system.

Hosts for the event are BOE Oahu-at-large member Charlene Cuaresma (a Waipahu High graduate) and Leeward Oahu Complex Area (Campbell-Kapolei) superintendent Annette Nishikawa, who is a former Kapolei Middle School principal.

The meeting follows a town hall-style format and may include an optional “early bird” talk-story time at 5:30 p.m.
