Blending Two Big Brands

Over the past 13 years, Jamba Juice team members have done an extraordinary job of establishing Jamba Juice as one of the leading healthy lifestyle companies in the Islands. On Jan. 1 we were excited to welcome the 32 Jamba Juice stores in Hawaii as part of our family. We are owned and operated by Chris Scanlan and Eddie Park, who also independently own and operate the 27 Jack in the Box restaurants throughout Hawaii.

Initially, Jamba Juice and Jack in the Box may seem very different, but as I continue to learn more about Jamba Juice in Hawaii, I see many similarities.

When you walk through the doors of Jack in the Box and Jamba Juice, you’ll notice that both companies are committed to providing excellent customer service. While the menus of the two restaurants are vastly different, both serve products that are fresh and made-to-order.

In addition, both companies are committed to supporting local businesses that provide their customers with local menu items. At Jack in the Box, customers have been able to enjoy coffee from Hawaiian Paradise Coffee, and the restaurant strives to cater to island tastes by adding SPAM^TM Croissants, Portuguese Sausage and SPAM^TM Platters, and the new Teri Jr. Jack. Likewise, Jamba Juice fans have enjoyed island flavors such as guava smoothies, KonaRed smoothies and a variety of acai bowls.

Another thing that makes the two more alike than different is the desire of the companies to give back to the community. Jamba Juice and Jack in the Box both support Hawaii Speed and Quickness, Spike and Speed, and the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii. Also, Jack in the Box employees will participate in the March for Babies walk April 13, and the Jamba Juice team members will be chasing life-size bananas around Ala Moana Beach Park at the Jamba Banana Man Chase May 4.
