Big City Diner To Open At Mall

The 5,411-square-foot void left by IHOP in Kaneohe won’t be vacant for long. Big City Diner has announced plans to open its sixth eatery in Windward Mall early next year.

“Windward Mall is the perfect place for us as we continue to look to expand and share our fresh and local Asian-American comfort food,” stated BCD president Lane Muraoka. “We hope guests will join us for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as late-night dining.”

The award-winning local restaurant, which also has a branch on Hekili Street in Kailua, is known for its hearty dishes, including Uncle Danny’s Kim Chee Fried Rice and The Really Loco, Loco Moco, as well as nightly specials, live entertainment and a football-friendly atmosphere.

Big City Diner currently is hiring to staff its mall venue, in both front and back of house positions, as well as management. Apply online at bigcitydinerhawaii.com. The restaurant will be located next to Ruby Tuesdays in the Macy’s wing.
