Banquet Benefits Pregnancy Center

Aloha Pregnancy Care and Counseling Center will sponsor its 17th annual banquet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 9 at Waipahu’s Filipino Community Center. This year’s event focuses on children affected by Down syndrome. Parents of local keiki with Down syndrome are expected to provide heartwarming testimony.

The event serves as a benefit for the organization, which has perpetual needs, including new computers/laptops, postage stamps, maternity clothes, new and gently used baby clothes, all-occasion greeting cards and more. Table hosts, underwriters and donations also are welcome.

Ebb Tides will provide the entertainment, and Creations in Catering will offer up a special luncheon menu. In celebration of Mother’s Day, women also can snag some sweet treats at a vendor table.
