Area Teen Art At ING Direct Cafe

A dozen West Oahu student artists from five different high schools are part of an ongoing art exhibit, “Tributes,” at ING Direct Cafe in Honolulu.

The exhibit was created by artist Pancho Abalos, an alumnus of Campbell High School, to provide students with an opportunity to showcase their work. Abalos’ new work also is on display.

Participating area students include Waipahu High School students Beethoven Sausal, Walter Mamuad, Arz Ortiz; Campbell High School students Jared Gaoiran, Arnel Abendanio; Waianae High students Elijah Wells, Shaundaera Pogorsky; and Kapolei High students Norma-Jean Driscoll, Ashley McCue, Chad Saffery and Kamalei Uyehara.

The exhibition kicked off earlier this month and continues through June 30.
