Anthropologie Opens In Ala Moana Center

Anthropologie opens its first Hawaii store at Ala Moana Center Feb. 1 featuring a unique product mix of women’s apparel and accessories, beauty, and home furnishings and decor tailored to its setting and customer.

The Ala Moana store also will be one of a select number of Anthropologie stores to offer a 1,000-square-foot petite shop-in-shop with more than 150 exclusive styles from designers including Cecilia Prado, Cynthia Vincent, Tracy Reese and Ranna Gill.

According to Sarah Wagner, petite buyer for Anthropologie, “The petite shop at Ala Moana will be a vital part of our endeavor to give petite women the shopping experience they have been looking for but unable to find. Only a few brands offer apparel for women 5-foot-3 and under, and even then only a handful of styles. We’re providing a vast array of options, enough to put together a complete outfit or an entire wardrobe, as well as a convenient way to shop.”

Anthropologie also will take part in the week-long contemporary art and music festival POW! WOW! Hawaii as the sponsor of a piece by conceptual crochet artist Olek. Her sculpture, a traditional Hawaiian canoe sheathed in crochet, will be on display in front of Honolulu Museum of Art Feb. 7-13.

At Ala Moana Center, Anthropologie is located on the third floor, Center Court.
