Aloha ‘Aina Recycling Dec. 6 At Aikahi School

Aikahi Elementary School welcomes all contributions to its Aloha ‘Aina recycling drive, which will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 6 at 281 Ilihau St.

In partnership with Schnitzer Steel and Kokua Hawaii Foundation’s 3Rs School Recycling Program, the Aloha ‘Aina drive accepts all kinds of scrap metal, bicycles and appliances, along with computers, laptops, printers, cartridges and other e-waste products.

Also needed: batteries, TV sets, used cooking oil, paper, corrugated cardboard, reusable clothing and household items (for Goodwill), HI-5 containers and plastics (No. 1 and 2).
