After years in the making, The LineUp at Wai Kai is officially open, and we’re thrilled to welcome residents to experience all we have to offer. The Line-Up is a waterfront recreation and lifestyle venue anchored by Hawai‘i’s first deep-water standing wave and the adjacent protected 52-acre lagoon. We’re proud to offer exceptional cuisine from unique dining venues, including The LookOut Food & Drink and Foam Coffee & Bar, in addition to offering catering and private events. Our vision is to foster community and inspire “stoke” by providing locals a unique place to gather.

The Wai Kai Wave offers an unrivaled surf experience for all levels. It’s 100 feet wide, is adjustable from 2 to 6 feet in height, and emulates famous natural standing river waves like O‘ahu’s legendary Waimea River. Our forthcoming Wai Kai Wave Surf Academy is a custom surfing program developed in collaboration with Wai Kai partner and X-Games Champion Shane Beschen. Now through April 30, our 100-foot wave is available for surfing at a discounted price; or, purchase a multipack, a 10-pack of surf, at the kama‘āina rate.At our 52-acre lagoon, guests can choose from a robust program of water activities, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, pedalboards, Hydrobikes, pedal boats and more. “Play Your Way” allows guests to swap out a multitude of non-motorized watercraft and use the AquaBana floating cabanas in between.

The LineUp at Wai Kai will host many memorable group functions and events, ranging from intimate gatherings to full buyouts, social paddles on the Wai Kai Lagoon, Wāhine Wednesdays and more. Wai Kai has partnered with Hawai‘i-based Events International to curate a schedule of engaging events, including standing Thursday farmers markets and Sustainability Sundays. The LineUp’s signature Wai Kai Show will take place every Monday starting April 17, and featuring Hawaiian and Tahitian performers sharing the history of surfing and river surfing told through song and dance on the exhilarating stage of the Wai Kai Wave.
