Fashion Is Top Of Mind

Hawaiian Telcom hosted a free community event in Wai‘anae. It featured a fashion show — emceed by Wai‘anae High School alumnus and fashion designer Ari South — which highlighted designs by the school’s fashion and design students. During the event, Hawaiian Telecom presented a check to Wai‘anae High for $2,000, as well as an additional $700 for Hawai‘i’s next generation of fashionistas. Golf Tournament Raises Funds ‘Fore’ Keiki

A playground at Kaka‘ako’s KCAA Muriel Preschool is closer to a revamp, thanks to the KIA Invitational Golf Tournament, held earlier this year at Pearl Country Club, which garnered $10,000 for the e~ ort.
