On Thursday, Dorothy Tong wanted to buy a Pack and Roll cart for carrying heavy things, so she stopped in at Simply Organized in Kahala Mall. As she made her purchase at 1:40 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Dorothy with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $150 shopping spree at Simply Organized.

“I like everything here (at Simply Organized) — the products, colors and shapes,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a retired public health nurse. “For example, I bought a soap dish that was in the right color (red) and shape.”

Dorothy was born and raised in Waialua, and graduated from McKinley High School in 1941. She has two sons and four grandchildren, and her hobbies include sewing, reading and traveling. She also likes to read Mid-Week. “I like the commentary, such as on the elections and about the war,” she said. “I also like reading Ron Nagasawa’s column, the Poll question and Jerry Coffee.”
