2015 I Ulu I Ke Kumu Awards
University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Hawaiiinuiakea School of Hawaiian Knowledge honored well-known community leaders during its ceremony and awards dinner. Dr. Naleen Andrade, Mahi Beamer, Kuhio and Claire Asam, and Poka Laenui and Puanani Burgess received the I Ulu I Ke Kumu award for extraordinary commitment and excellence in Native Hawaiian education.
