By the time you read this, Kahuku muralist Hilton Alves will be almost finished with his latest project: the “world’s largest surf art mural” at 1320 Kalani St. The Brazil native is brightening up a 5-story-high by 200-foot-wide wall in industrial Kalihi, and he estimates he’ll need about 150 gallons of paint to put the Bonzai Pipeline up there …
