Style // Nicole Richie for Impulse at Macy’s

Macy’s has launched its new Nicole Richie for Impulse collection featuring 25 limited-edition pieces in the designer’s classic style, including 1960s and 1970s influenced silhouettes, prints and fabrications. “After partnering with Nicole Richie on NBC’s Fashion Star, we were excited to help her create a capsule collection that is fashion-forward, affordable and reflects her unique style,” said Jeff Gennette, Macy’s chief merchandising officer. “Her designs are synonymous with bohemian glamour, offering our customers access to Nicole’s cov-etable red carpet-ready aesthetic.”

Richie, a fashion icon who has been the face of Bongo Jeans and Jimmy Choo advertising campaigns, also has a line of jewelry, apparel and shoes called House of Harlow 1960; a collection of maternity clothes for A Pea in the Pod titled Nicole; and a women’s fashion line called Winter Kate.

The Nicole Richie for Impulse collection ranges in price from $39 to $129, and was released Sept. 12. On Oahu, Nicole Richie for Impulse is available at Macy’s Ala Moana.

Also, stop by Macy’s Ala Moana on Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. for a fusic (fashion and music) show by Iolani. The event takes place on the third floor, and there will be a fashion show of

Iolani’s island-inspired collection along with music by Manoa DNA and hula performances.

And on Oct. 6 meet celebrity fashion consultant Clinton Kelly for a special event at Macy’s Ala Moana.
