New TV Show Profiles Prep Football Teams

Longtime MidWeek sportswriter Jack Danilewicz now shares more of his sports insights on TV, with the new series Hawaii Prep GameWeek.

The show, which is presented by Chaminade University, is written and produced by Danilewicz himself.

Hawaii Prep GameWeek goes on campus to profile a different high school football team in each episode. In addition to Danilewicz, the show also features former Kailua soccer player Stacy Takekawa. Local entertainer I.A. hosts the program.

The show premiered last week and airs 7:30 p.m. Mondays on OC Sports. Eight episodes are planned for the fall.
