More Parking On Hill For College Commutes

The new 228-stall parking structure, which opened in September on the Saint Louis-Chaminade campus, will benefit both students and visitors to the Kaimuki complex.

An $18 million joint gift from the Society of Mary and the Marianist Center of Hawaii, donated over a period of seven years, not only funded the structure ($11.8 million) but also helped finish other infrastructure improvements around the campus.

“This multi-year gift has ensured that our institutions can truly continue the Marianist educational values over the long term,” said Chaminade’s board chairwoman Kathleen “Kitty” Wo.

In addition to the campus improvements, the funds will support religious ministry programs and scholarships for the high school and college students who share the campus.
