The Woman’s Board of Missions for the Pacific Islands celebrated the launch of the “Memoirs of Henry Obookiah” last month at Hawaiian Mission Houses. The 195-year-old memoir details a young Hawaiian man’s introduction to Christianity. The newly revised edition contains vintage and new photographs and an informational epilogue.
