Masako Formals at the Hawaii World Class Wedding Expo
For the last 36 years, Masako Formals has been dressing brides, grooms and many others for their special occasion.
Originally located in the Ala Moana Building, the locally owned formal wear store moved to its current location at 716 Cooke St. about 12 years ago, and carries wedding gowns, tuxedos, and bridesmaid, flower girl, mother-of-the-bride or -groom, and prom dresses. Some of the brands you’ll find are Casablanca, Allure Romance, Alyne, Sophia Tolli and Pattis.
“The trend for wedding gowns right now is vintage looks,” says sales associate Pauline Yoshizawa. “However, strapless gowns are still really popular.”
Featured here are some of the latest styles available at Masako Formals. They also will be at the Hawaii World Class Wedding Expo XXX happening May 17 and 18 at the Hawaii Convention Center.
Stop by the expo and meet with experts for all your wedding needs, including photography, location, hair and makeup, catering, floral arrangements, decorations and more. There also will be fashion shows at 7:30 p.m. on Friday (May 17) and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday (May 18). The expo is open from 6 to 10 p.m. May 17 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 18.
