Makahiki Challenge Is Not A Walk In The Park

The second annual Makahiki Challenge – a 5K obstacle/mud run – is planned for 9 a.m. March 9 at Kualoa Ranch, and it’s open to all people age 15 and older who welcome unique hurdles and lots of mud.

The route is designed to test endurance and mental toughness, moving through hills, rough terrain, mud pits and much more at the scenic ranch – and you get to pay for it. Entry fee is $65 until Jan. 23, $70 until Feb. 13, and $80 until Feb. 25.
