Lions Club Breakfast Arrives

The Wahiawa Lions Club is preparing for its 17th annual benefit breakfast, but at $7 a ticket, it looks like the customers will benefit, too.

The doors will be open from 7 to 11 a.m. April 21 at Leilehua High School cafeteria, where Lions will prepare and serve the public in a quest to support their many service projects, Leilehua scholarships, contests and the Veterans Day parade. The club also provides vision and hearing screenings at local elementary schools and poster contests for the middle schools. This is the club’s only fundraiser.

On the menu are scrambled eggs, sausages, steamed rice, banana bread, pineapple chunks, coffee, tea and punch. Takeout also is available. Kanani Oliveira Hula Studio will entertain guests.

For those who don’t have their tickets yet, the Lions are selling them from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday at Tamura’s.
