Kakaako Improvement Association recently held its KIA Invitational Golf Tournament at Pearl Country Club, with 144 golfers participating. The tourney benefits area schools and nonprofits, with this year’s recipient, KCAA Muriel Preschool, receiving a check for $10,000. The school is located in Kakaako and is a KIA member.
