Kailua Churches Plan Christmas Trolley Party

The Methodists are on a roll, literally, with a joint Trolley Christmas Party set for 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 8 at Kailua United Methodist Church.

Partnering with Keolumana United Methodist Church in Enchanted Lake, the Kailua Road congregation has scheduled trolley rides to see the neighborhood lights, departing from Kailua UMC at 5:20 p.m. and every 20 minutes until 8 p.m. Advanced tickets cost $15 for adults or $45 per family with keiki under 6 riding free. Tickets at the door will be $18 or $50 per immediate family.

At the church, meanwhile, more fun awaits with twinkling lights, heavy pupus, a craft and bake sale, silent auction, children’s activities and Christmas music.
