HECO Helps Strengthen STEM Education

Hawaiian Electric Co.’s recent charitable contributions have benefitted local science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education programs.

The company has contributed more than $118,000 to initiatives that include engineering fairs and robotics, math and science competitions.

Many of these donations were to West Oahu programs, such as the West Oahu clubhouse of the Boys and Girls Club, Kapolei Foundation, Performing Arts Center of Kapolei, Kapolei Foundation, and the Malama Learning Center based at Kapolei High School.
