”Embodied”
Gallery of Hawaii Artists, until April 22, Mon.-Fri. 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., call for cost. Honolulu-based artist Emily Sewell challenges her viewers to contemplate to contemplate how through a simple shift of perspective, materials can be seen as metaphors and processes as daily interactions. “Embodied” is comprised of selections from several bodies of work that deal with such concepts as corporeality, memory, emotion and tactility.
