CAR WASH Leilehua’s wrestling team washes cars from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 29 at Waialua Community Association, 66-434 Kamehameha Hwy. (across from McDonald’s). Donation is $10 to $15 and proceeds benefit the local branch of the International Dyslexia Association. Call 538-7007.

ART WALK The monthly Haleiwa Art Walk runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Sept. 29 in Haleiwa town, featuring art sales, activities and events hosted by dozens of merchants. Call 637- 4558.

CRAFT FAIR The Leilehua High Band Boosters have a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 29 in the cafeteria with food, crafts, baked goods, barbecued chicken, live music, door prizes and an orchid sale. Call 224-4080.

GARDEN CONTEST Deadline is Sept. 30 to enter the Wahiawa Town Garden Revival contest, a months-long beautification project sponsored by Wahiawa Historical Society with cash prizes for the best yard in five categories. Entry forms are at Wahiawa Botanical Garden and Wahiawa Library. Call 621-0043.

HAUNTED LAGOON Polynesian Cultural Center has its annual Haunted Lagoon rides from Oct. 5 to 31, with double-hulled canoes departing at 6:30 p.m. four nights a week through Oct. 22, and then Monday-Saturday Oct. 22- 31. Tickets cost $19.50 and $14.50 with a reduced stu- dent rate through Oct. 13, and milder “keiki canoes” offered from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Call 293-3333.
