In honor of Veterans Day (Nov. 11), Wet ‘n’ Wild Hawaii will offer free admission for all U.S. armed forces (active duty, retired, reserves and National Guard) and first responders (police, firefighters, EMTs and lifeguards) on the holiday. Those not part of these groups still can celebrate (with a big splash) all who have served the community. In addition, family and friends who accompany a military member or first responder will receive half-off admission.

“It is a great way for Wet ‘n’ Wild Hawaii to show our appreciation and to honor thousands of men and women in our nation’s military and first responders,” stated sales and marketing director Eddie Galdones.

This marks the 12th year Wet ‘n’ Wild has put on its Salute to Our Heroes, and the park welcomes all who have the day off to enjoy its more than 25 rides, such as the mellow Kapolei Kooler, moderately intense Flyin’ Hawaiian or the extreme Tornado.

Games, prizes and giveaways will go on throughout the day, thanks to sponsors 97.5 FM and Pepsi.

Wet ‘n’ Wild is located at 400 Farrington Hwy. in Kapolei. For more information, call the park at 674-9283 or visit wetnwildhawaii.com.
