CPAC Stages Ageless ‘A Christmas Carol’

Castle Performing Arts Center will present A Christmas Carol with a cast of students in grades 4-12 from eight schools this weekend and next.

Together, under the direction of Karen Meyer, they will invoke stingy Ebenezer Scrooge, the various ghosts of Christmas, and long-suffering Bob Cratchit when the story comes to Ron Bright Theatre Nov. 30 to Dec. 9.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Dec. 7, 3 p.m. Sunday and Dec. 9, and 7 p.m. Dec. 8. Tickets cost $10 general and $6 for students, seniors and military. For reservations, call 233-5626 or go to ShowTix4U.com (click on Buy Tickets and search for Castle Performing Arts Center).

Aspiring actors looking for a somewhat different vehicle to fame should mark Dec. 3-5 on their calendars. These are the audition dates for CPAC’s next show, How to Succeed in Bu$iness Without Really Trying. Tryouts will run from 6 to 9 p.m. all three days at Bright Theatre. Call the above number for details.
