Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Paul McWilliams has been promoted to office manager at Bishop Street Commercial. He began his career with the company in 2010 as an intern, and in 2011 became part of the leasing team and was involved with the day-to-day leasing activities for approximately 500,000 square feet of office space.
Danny Gallegos is the new information technology manager at Anthology Marketing Group. He now is responsible for research, installation and maintenance of the company’s information and communications technology systems, applications and data. Previously, Gallegos worked as an IT consultant for PDC Systems Hawaii, Blackbird Consulting and Roland, Schorr & Tower.
Thomas Dixon has been named executive vice president and chief credit officer in the Credit Administration Division at First Hawaiian Bank. He will oversee the activities of the bank’s small business loan center, managed assets department, dealer flooring inspection and credit service areas. Dixon began his banking career at First Hawaiian Bank as a management trainee and has more than 41 years of banking experience.
Brian Bender has been appointed branch manager of Kama’aina Mortgage Group. He now is responsible for recruiting, training, customer satisfaction and staying current with the mortgage and financial industry. He brings to the position more than 10 years of mortgage, finance and management experience, and previously was a senior loan officer with Bank of America.
Nick Vanderboom has been named senior vice president of development for The Howard Hughes Corporation. In his new role, he has relocated to Honolulu to focus on overseeing strategic development in Hawaii, including the transformation of the 60-acre Ward Centers to Ward Village and the recently announced luxury condos ONE Ala Moana. Prior to joining the company in 2010, Vanderboom was vice president of development for TPMC California.
