Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii

Imran Hamid has been appointed as cruise manager for Atlantis Adventures’ Atlantis Navatek Cruises. Hamid comes to Atlantis well-prepared, having accrued more than 15 years of restaurant management experience in Hawaii and California. Most recently he served as manager at Brown’s Beach House Restaurant at The Fairmont Orchid resort on Hawaii. Before that, he served as manager for the Kenichi Pacific restaurants in Kona and Mauna Lani.
Lucy Frost Lewis has been named director of institutional advancement for Iolani School. As director, Lewis will work with the advancement team to strengthen the relationship of alumni, parents and grandparents. Previously, Lewis was senior associate director of principals and gifts at Yale University.
Michael Shibata has been promoted from project manager to associate of PBR Hawaii, a planning and landscape architectural firm. Shibata will continue to process land use-related governmental permit documents such as environmental impact statements and assessments, zone changes, plan review use applications and special management area permits. Shibata joined PBR Hawaii in 2006. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and economics from UH-Manoa in 2005 and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree.
Randy Aina has been announced president of Hawaii Children’s Cancer Foundation, the state’s only organization dedicated exclusively to providing services to children with cancer and their families. Aina is a senior vice president at Edward Enterprises Inc. and father of a cancer survivor. Prior to his term as president, Aina served as an active member of the board for eight years.
