Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Thomas K.L.M YoungThomas K.L.M Young has been appointed by The Gas Company as senior vice president of strategic initiatives and supply. Tom joined TGC in 1981 as an assistant chemist for the company’s 16.7-million-cubic-foot-capacity synthetic gas manufacturing plant. He rose to senior vice president and chief operating officer, a position he held since this appointment.
Dr. Arabella I. LeetDr. Arabella I. Leet has been appointed by Shriner’s Hospital for Children as its new chief of staff. Leet had been on the faculty of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore since 2002, where she served as an associate professor in the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedics in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. She also served as director of the Orthopaedic Center for Children with Cerebral Palsy at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, a position she has held since 2002.
Tom ColandreaTom Colandrea has been hired as vice president and general manager of Expedia Local Expert in Hawaii, the leading provider of personal concierge services in the state. Colandrea will be responsible for growing Expedia’s personal and group concierge services throughout the state of Hawaii, partnering with Expedia’s more than 600 destinations. He also will coordinate with Expedia’s supply team to ensure it provides the best selection of destination services and activities to travelers throughout Hawaii, across a range of preferences and budgets.

Oliveira has nearly a decade of management and sales experience in the real estate and construction industries, specializing in client relations, employee functions and facilities management. He most recently served as an account manager at Allied Machinery Corp.
