Ben Matsunaga Wins A $250 Spree At City Mill

Ben Matsunaga wanted to replace a screen frame at home, so Thursday he took a trip to City Mill in Hawaii Kai. As he made his purchase at 1: 30 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Ben with a simple question. He answered correctly and instantly won a $250 City Mill shopping spree.

“I like shopping at City Mill because they always help me when I have questions,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, who is retired from Central Pacific Bank. “Also, their prices are reasonable, and it’s convenient.”

Ben was born and raised in Waipahu and graduated from Waipahu High School in 1956. He and wife Lynn have one grown daughter and two grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and working around the house. He also likes to read MidWeek.

“I read all the stories, such as Bob Jones’ column,” he said. “And I like the sales ads.”
