Modern Weddings Hawaii is a free wedding-planning online resource geared toward any couple getting married in Hawaii, whether they currently live in the Islands or are planning a destination wedding from afar.
As a brainchild of Moana Events and with more than a decade of high-end event management experience in Hawaii, New York City and Boston, I was prompted to create Modern Weddings Hawaii after noticing the disconnect between what was being presented online as a typical Hawaii wedding and the high quality and stylish work of my peers.

Modern Weddings Hawaii provides daily editorial inspiration, and has everything a Hawaii bride would need to know about which island to choose, whom to hire, opinions from other brides, video interviews and an online store.
I wanted to create a website that would highlight beautiful Hawaii weddings and the wonderful vendors and venues that exist here. There is a void online for consistent representations of stylish and contemporary Hawaii weddings from the viewpoint of the professionals who live here, and I wanted to fill that void.
Modern Weddings Hawaii seeks to provide the best wedding resources, style, inspiration and advice possible – straight from the shores of Hawaii.
Modern Weddings Hawaii is published by a collection of wedding experts and enthusiasts who live and work in Hawaii planning weddings. We know the venues, vendors and islands personally and want to provide our readers with stylish and current photo and video content, from the viewpoint of a variety of experts. These experts will be able to provide advice for any couples getting married in the near future. They could learn all about the things they need to consider and they could learn about the best people to recruit to make their wedding special. For example, it’s so important that couples choose the right photographer for their wedding day. These pictures will be cherished forever, so it’s important that they are taken by a reliable photographer, like this Cape Cod wedding photographer.
