The Hawaii World Class Wedding Expo takes place Oct. 26 and 27 at Hawaii Convention Center, featuring 150 vendors with experts for all your wedding planning needs. There also will be a fashion show featuring the latest in wedding gowns, tuxedos and bridal party attire from various designers and retailers.

Among those participating is Pomare, providing island fashions for nearly 50 years and doing business mainly as Hilo Hattie, the Store of Hawaii. Specializing in matching and coordinating island style apparel, Pomare also is known for outfitting the entire family for any occasion. Customers also can choose from a variety of familiar labels, including Mamo Howell, Hilo Hattie Bridal Collection and Hawaiian Moon by Pomare.

For the upcoming Hawaii World Class Wedding Expo, Mamo’s timeless vintage wedding collection has been retrieved from her archives to showcase and inspire Pomare’s newest Bridal Collections.

Featured here are some of the latest designs from Pomare, available at Hilo Hattie, Sears Hawaii and many other fine island retailers.

The Hawaii World Class Wedding Expo is open from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The fashion show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets cost $8 at the door. For more information, visit BridesChoiceHawaii.com.
