Sea Life Park Limu Fest Set
A Limu Fest will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 24 at Sea Life Park Ha- wai‘i. It will be conducted in partnership with Waimāna- lo Limu Hui and others.
Keeping in theme with con- servation, community and the world of limu (seaweed), the in-park event will feature vendors, food and educational booths, as well as a preview of the park’s new limu tour. Earlier in the year, Gov. Da- vid Ige proclaimed 2022 as the Year of the Limu, to recognize the essential role that limu plays in Native Ha- waiian traditions. Access to the festival is included with the price of admission during the park’s regular hours. A portion of the proceeds from the Limu Fest will benefit the Waimānalo Limu Hui.
The Limu Fest at Sea Life Park in Waimānalo will be held on Sept 24.
